Referring friends are great but to a newbie ptc member like me, adding funds aren't that great. I'm still new in the world of ptc and am still learning my way around. I haven't had any cash out yet from the ptc sites where I am a member.

I think it's not bad if we follow the Loyalty Award here. It's fair to reward loyal clickers, right?

Loyalty awards sounds good, well you could also include post to be paid contest... That is to encourage members to speak out and be heard. Thus keeping the forum very active, also a way to encourage new members.
